Owner & Trainer
In 2016 Jordan had a wild idea of opening up a gym in the lower level of a warehouse on the banks of the Kam River. 4.5 years, multiple renovations, a relocation, and 200 gym members later and here we are! Jordan has been the driving force behind Industrial Athletics since the beginning and loves seeing our gym provide a vibrant, exciting, and welcoming environment for our entire community. Certifications include: Canfit pro, Issa pt, Dts kettle bell level 1.
Jamie has been training for 9+ years and can help you identify your goals and design a program that fits your needs and guide you through every exercise and every workout. Along with strength and conditioning training Jamie also specializes in pre & postnatal fitness. Certifications include: Pre & Postnatal fitness certified, DTS Olympic lifting cert, Strength & conditioning coach, Nutrition & weight loss certified, Sports nutrition certified, TRX certified, DTS Kettlebell foundations, DTS level 1 certified, Fascia movement & assessment, Stress resiliency certified, Functional Movement Systems cert (FMS).
For 7+ years Jen has been helping people discover that training and an active lifestyle has the power to make every day life easier. Whether it’s the first time they can walk up the stairs pain free or get down on the floor to play with their grandkids - every accomplishment should be celebrated! Jen’s certifications include: Canfitpro Personal Training Specialist, Canfitpro Active Aging, DTS Conditioning Coach, DTS Low Back Specialist, DTS Lean Body Coach, Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1, SWIS Level 1 Upper and Lower Body Exercise Muscle Testing.
Jordan crossed the pond in 2019, moving to Thunder Bay from England. With 10+ years of training with a background in athletic development, Jordan’s clients range from those who have never stepped foot in a gym, to athletes looking to gain a competitive advantage in their sport! Jordan’s certifications include: Ace Fitness Personal Trainer, Ace Spirt Performance, Precision Nutrition Level 2 Coach, UEFA B Coach
Hannah has been a trainer for over 3 years and loves being able to show her clients that you can have fun while getting fit, strong, and healthy! Hannah has experience competing as a former national level gymnast and current national level Olympic weightlifter, and has NCCP competition coaching courses for both sports, as well as a CanFitPro certification. Hannah was recently chosen to represent Team Canada at the 2022 Pan American Championships in Colombia in July 2022.
Barwork Head Coach, Personal Trainer
Brandon’s passion is centred around helping people solve their athletic problems and become more capable and resilient through training. Born out of a pursuit to resolve injuries and level-up his own performance, Brandon has formed a lifelong habit out of learning, training, and sharing knowledge with those who might benefit. He is a certified Olympic Weightlifting coach, functional and barefoot training specialist, and academic researcher. Brandon owns and operates Barwork, a barbell collective that operates out of Industrial Athletics.
